Context

An adjoining cemetery was also established. The church was later moved across the road and extensions were added. After celebrating its 100th Anniversary in 1992, services continued for another 20 years. A 120th Anniversary and Closing ceremony was held on 16 June 2012 at Norway Lutheran Church. The church building was later sold. The Norway Lutheran cemetery across the road continues to be maintained by Our Saviours Lutheran Church in Hillsboro, ND.
