This file contains images of the John Charles (J.C.) and Frieda (Mergenthal) Bohnsack family. J.C. was born on 20 November 1886 to parents Phillip and Dorothea (Rediske) Bohnsack. For a time, J.C. lived with his parents in Red Wing, MN, and then as a young man, attended ND Agricultural College and Business College in Fargo. On 28 September 1912, J.C. Bohnsack married Frieda Mergenthal of Hillsboro. JC. and Frieda farmed and raised their family in Section 10 in Bohnsack Township. J.C. Bohnsack lived to the age of 62, passing away on 3 November 1949.
