Description

A folder of documents on the life of Clarence E. and Ruth (Hood) Fuller. They married in Hillsboro on 23 June 1909, and had four children, Francis Fuller (1910-1997), Lois Fuller (1913-2015) Russell Fuller (1915-1991) and (Ruth Fuller (1919-1975). Clarence was a studio photographer in Hillsboro from about 1896 to 1930. He also operated a studio in Perham, MN, retiring in 1947, and moving to Massachusetts where his daughter Lois (Fuller) Johnson lived. Clarence lived to the age of 92, passing away in 1962. This folder includes a spiral-bound book with documentation that Clarence Fuller had ancestors who landed in Plymouth, MA, on the Mayflower. Included in this book is the "Prairie Girl", an autobiographical account by Ruth (Hood) Fuller, completed and copyrighted by daughter, Lois (Fuller) Johnson. Towards the end of this book, Lois has written a series of accounts of her life titled "Angels in my life".
