Norway Lutheran Church 100th Anniversary Plate.
Norway Lutheran Church was founded on 28 January 1892 as Norsk Evangelisk Lutherske Menighed. Charter members were Halvor Anderson, Andreas Waslien, Ole Haarstad, Soren P. Waslien, Knut Tofsrud Swenson (great great grandfather of Jack Ludwig), Peder Sundby, Syvre Longberg, Johannes Bergumshagen, Johannes Nysveen, John Haarstad, Christian Ellingson and Nels Wold.
After celebrating its 100th Anniversary in 1992, services continued for another 20 years. A 120th Anniversary and Closing ceremony was held on 16 June 2012 at Norway Lutheran Church. The church building was later sold. The Norway Lutheran cemetery across the road continues to be maintained.Context
