This folder has four pages on the lives of John H. and Margaret (Falconer) Johnson who lived in the Kelso-Quincy area of Traill County. John H. Johnson was born on 21July 1847 in Varna, Huron County, Ontario Province, Canada, the first son of James and Ann (Sparling) Johnson. John H. Johnson's grandparents were John and Mary (Ford) Johnson of Huron County, Ontario. A chart of descendants of John and Mary (Ford) Johnson includes James and Ann (Sparling) Johnson as No. 5 under "Generation No. 2" and John H. and Margaret (Falconer) Johnson as No. 18 under "Generation No. 3" (see Catalogit Family History entry 2025.205.1).
John H. and Margaret (Falconer) Johnson had three children, including James Johnson; Mary Johnson, wife of William Voltz of Bohnsack; and David Johnson. After Margaret died, John H. married Nettie Nelson, and they had three children: Alfred Johnson of Kelso, Bennie Johnson of Kelso, and Della Johnson who married Joseph Waters.
