On 12 June 1953, Traill County Superintendent of Schools, Esther Miller, directed the 22nd Annual Eighth Grade Graduation program for rural and consolidated schools, which was held at the Hillsboro High School Auditorium. The program for rural school graduates began with a Processional and ended with a Benediction and Recessional.
