Data were available in Ancestry.com such as from the Ackerman/Kneip/Fleischer/Hagen Family Tree developed by Jackie Ausk. Volume I of the Traill County History book had brief family stories. Obituaries in the Hillsboro Banner weekly newspaper had useful family information.
