As shown in the 1900 Traill County Atlas map for Norway Township, Norway School No. 4 was located in the northeast corner of the SW Qtr. of Section 26. In 1900, School No. 4 was one of five rural schools in Norway Township.
In the 1942-1943 school year, Norway School No. 4 teacher Maxine Brauer reported attendances and grades for 14 students, including Alfred Anderson, Donna Anderson, Theion Anderson, Thore Anderson, Bernice Hanson, Lester Hanson, Theodore Hanson, Violet Hanson, Wallace Johnson, Jennings Mergenthal, Judith Mergenthal, Larkin Mergenthal, Marian Olson, and Lois Skyberg.
Maxine Brauer's Teacher's Contract was signed on 15 August 1942 for $85 per month by Maxine L. Grauer, Teacher, and by Raymond A. Hanson, President, and Elias Nysveen, Clerk, of the Norway District School Board.Acquisition
