In June 1982, the City of Galesburg, ND, celebrated its Centennial (1882-1982). For this celebration, a 9" by 11", 448-page, dark-blue book titled: "Footprints Across the Prairie" (see book Title page, below). This book was written and compiled by the Galesburg Centennial History Book Committee, chaired by Ardis Halvorson, Orville Paulson, Viola Rygh, Helen Olstad, Gladys Bring, Emma Hamm and Otto Satrom. This book was dedicated "to those who stopped, liked what they saw, had visions of a permanent home, and stayed" (see book Dedication page, below). This 448-page book includes a number of chapters, for example, on Galesburg's Early Years, and Family Histories (see book Table of Contents page, below).
