From 26 to 28 June 1981, the City of Grandin, ND, celebrated its Centennial (1881-1981). For this celebration, a 9" by 11", 144-page, brown book titled: "Grandin Centennial 1881-1981, Grandin, North Dakota" was prepared by the Grandin Communities Centennial Committee, chaired by John Gordon. This book includes a number of chapters, for example, on the History of Grandin, Township Histories, and Family Histories (see book Contents, below).
