Description

A set of six books titled "Collections of the State Historical Society of North Dakota" are available for reading at the TCHS Plummer House Museum in Hillsboro, ND. These Volumes I (1906), II (1908), III (1910), IV (1913), V (1923) and VII (1925) contain contributed articles on the history of Dakota Territory and the State of North Dakota. Each volume, edited by O. G. Libby, has a beginning Contents and an ending Index. Volumes I to VII [ Volume VI (1924), not available] were donated by James Ahrlin, retired science teacher at Galesburg, Traill County, ND, adding to an earlier donation of Volumes I and III by LaVerne Skogen. In addition, James Ahrlin has provided two pages of hand-written notes highlighting articles of interest in each of the six books (see below).
