Context

This folder contains a document written by Pearl (Ness) Jahnke, the daughter of Tina Smith, born in 1876, and who married Martin Ness in 1906. Tina was raised on the Smith Family farm located in Bingham Township by the Red River, eleven miles east of Cummings, ND. Tina (Smith) and Martin Ness had five children, Pearl Ness, William Ness, Merrill Ness and Harry Ness. Tina (Smith) Ness died at the age of 77 in 1953.
