In the Fall Term of 1892 (26 Sep-16 Dec), Blanchard School No. 5 teacher Esther Johnson reported attendances and studies pursued for 25 students, including Annie Brekke, Julia Brekke, Louis Brekke, Nellie Christianson, Albert Ellingrud, Hilda Ellingrud, Katy Ellingrud, Sever Ellingrud, Ole Grondal, Helena Hiller, Rachel Hiller, Lizzie Krogstad, Martin Krogstad, Hilda Lommerud, Andrew Manger, Carl Nelson, Christine Nelson, Hilda Nelson, Martin Nelson, Nels Nelson, Sver Olson, Henry Willison, and Oscar Willison. Blanchard Township School No. 5 was located in NW Qtr. of Section 8 (see 1900 map, below), about 7 miles NW of the Village of Blanchard, and about 8 miles S of the City of Mayville.
