Our Savior's Lutheran Church was organized on 25 June 1917, with the Reverend O. P. Stavaas as the first pastor. Our Savior's Lutheran Church was formed from the former Synod Lutheran Church, with Rev. J. R. Rorvik its first pastor, who served until 1902.
