Description

In 1916, the Bohnsack School Board continued to hire Hazelle Irwin as their teacher for rural school No. 2. On her Register pages for March to June 1916 (shown below), Hazelle Irwin kept an attendance record for students enrolled including Clara Beckman, Vera Bovaird, Benny Fortman, Harry Foster, Leland Foster, Lloyd Foster, Lucile Foster, Mildred Foster, Deliliah Gabbert, Ruby Gabbert, Doris Irwin, Grace Erwin, Arthur Larson, Chester Larson, Clarence Larson, Thomas Larson, Clara Ludwig, Dorothy Ludwig, Ernest Ludwig, George Ludwig, Emil Ponto, Walter Ponto, Ferne Schnoebelen, Floyd Vinson, and Dorothy Willison. This Bohnsack Scholl No. 2 Teacher's Registry book was donated to the TCHS by Bob and Delores Porter.
