Gunda Olsen was born in Norway in 1883, and came to Minnesota, age one, with her parents, Rev. Christian Olsen and Martha (Pjaaka) Olsen. Her father served the Methodist Church in Hillsboro from 1897 to 1903. Gunda married Ole O. Hovde of Hillsboro in 1905 and farmed SW of Hillsboro.
Ole Hovde died in 1952 and Gunda passed away in 1975.Acquisition
