In 1918, Immanuel Lutheran Church was located about three miles east of Hillsboro in Section 34 of Eldorado Township. A history of Immanuel is described in TCHS Catalogit entry 2023.195.1. In 1875 families of mainly German descent formally organized the Evangelical Immanuel Lutheran Church east of what became the City of Hillsboro.Acquisition
