Description

Peder Hildor (Eriksen) Kamphaug was born on 28 March 1893 to parents Olaus Erikson (later name change to Kamphaug) and Inger Johannsdr. Kamphaug. He was baptized on 21 May 1893 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Hatton, ND [ELCA Birth/baptism Rec.]. Peder Hildor Kamphaug used his middle name, Hildor, to avoid confusion with his uncle Peder J. Kamphaug (see TCHS Catalogit family history entry 2025.243.1).
