SportsDescription
At the right, Robert White, of the Bailey A.C. (right), is shown missing a roundhouse right aimed at Ray Troll, of the Niles Police A.C. (left) during their semi-final middleweight bout. White didn't miss later in the scrap as he came off the ropes with a barrage of lefts and rights to the head that left Troll groggy by the time the bout was stopped and White was awarded a technical knockout victory. White was forced to default the title to Matt Brown because of a cut eye. April 21, 1948."
