Dear Sir
Among the papers of my late son in law
Geo. W. Tallmadge decd–I find a deed from his
father dated 20th Sep 1820 of Lot 32 in 16th Range 13 Town
& 32 Sect 640 acres in Athens County. Also lot 32 in
16 Range 13 lower 15 Sect 262 and Same County
this deed appears not to have been recorded and I
suppose the taxes have been paid in his father's
name. There is also another from Same to Same
dated 13 Dec 1823 of Lot 31 Range 16 Town 12 Sect 31
of 640 acres in Hocking County recorded in Book
A page 390 & 391. This last has been listed to G.W. T
& I believe some was over hold for taxes. Wm
Henry F. Tallmadge refers me to you for informa-
tion and you will confer a great favour on me
by giving me any information of the present con-
dition of this property as I wish to preserve what
I can for the little son of my daughter–and any
expense shall be dutifully remunerated–your
friends here are all well.
