On September 3, 1803 the church was organized at the Con-
cord Baptist Church. In 1811, Adamson Bentley became
pastor of the Warren Baptist Church. By 1828, the
congregation had embraced the teaching and philosophy
of Walter Scott and Alexander Campbell. The church
became known as the Christian Church, Disciples of Christ,
