Brother Horace Sir
Father received
your letter yesterday stating that you wished
to come back. And he requested me to
answer it. He spoke to Uncle Ben about
work. he has hired his help for the summer
and it would be very doubtful [wether] you
would get any thing to do this summer at
that business. however you can act your
own pleasure about the matter. you know
best. I was astonished at hearing that Thomas
has quit that place. for my [?] has been
since he left that health and prosperity
would attend him. I would be very glad to
have him write. answer this soon if you dont
come before it. and I remain yours with
respect
Charles Stevens [?]
