A metal plate on the lid identifies the award. The inside lid is covered in a blue moire-type fabric with gold lettering indicating 'Stanley-Great Tunstile-Holborn, England.'

The second tray contains wooden scales of various sizes, the longer ones engraved with the Stanley identification and some engraved W.S. Harvey. There are several tacks, pen nibs, and miscellaneous drawing pencils, three shown are marked made in Germany.
The lower section contains various curves and triangles, all engraved with either Stanley or W.S. Harvey. Additionally, there are eight scales made by Eyre & Spottiswoode of New Street, London, and engraved W.S. Harvey on the back of each.Acquisition
