This is a blue hat with a medium-width flexible brim. There is a pink and purple floral decoration attached to the front of the hat. The label on the inside of the hat indicates that the brand is Henrietta O'Brien. Henrietta O'Brien ran a millinery shop in Buffalo, beginning around 1910 and continuing into the forties.
The hat was owned by Helen Hart Hurlbert, president and publisher of the Warren Tribune Chronicle; Hurlbert took control of the paper in 1936.Acquisition
