Friends at home,
I got back all safe
that night yesterday the ice broke
and gouged and done a great eal of
dammadge and then the water fell
and about nine Oclock it began
to rain and this morning at 7
it had raised 2 ft and still come
up at 10 Oclock. it is now rising(?)
a great many houses at the lower
end of the town they are moving
out with boats. it looks like a
lake. I am not going to youngstown
un till the last of the week
I am going to Cleveland about
wednesday with the men to buy
the goods. write often and tell me
how you are getting along once or
twist a week and I will furnish
stamps un till you getter better there
