Mr Kirtland Esq
Sir having understood that you
wished to hire some hands to go to Californy +
not having the means to go propose to
hire to you or some other man if we can
get decent wages and our expenses bore
we are young and Harty and bound for
Californy one 22 years and the other 19
now if you would like to hire or know of any
one that would like to if you would send
us word the first mail you would oblige
us very much
Please send the length of time you wish to
hire and the terms from which you hire
