" Dear jean
Hello honey. I Received two letter today
wrote the
17th 20 of this month I am enclosing the
card from the bank you
send me to sign "Good duty" in my estimation.
I suppose
you think it funny because I wasn't very
excited
about the "War News" I guess it because
I am pretty far away
from being home. Honey I really feel bad
about the
old thing, I can't even guess how long
it will
be before that day comes I am in a
position where I
can do a damn thing about it so I
"wait" and i will
love you ever minute in my dreams until
the
day comes around. I seem like a long
time since
I see you my darling. I certainly hope
it isn't that long of a period yet.
I glad you enjoy yourself at the
V.F.W. I
don't believe we ever was there, so many place
I really forget all about , we have to
feature it
when I get home.
Gee honey, I wish we could go to
Maryland
on our 5th anniversary, "boy" what a
day that would
be. I should think if we phone a little
ahead to
Gunterstown and have the water hot
before we
arrived there, but still as I think it
over if "

I wrote him a letter just a little while
ago. I guess
I really slip on letter writing, I owe your
Grandmother a
letter, and mother and the good looking
sister I am ashamed
of myself. honey explain if they feel
hurt about it , I
always told myself it was alright , because
you are
so near each other , I owe them so
much appreciation ,
I cant repay , I will certainly do my
best in words
Tell that rother of mine from the great
Europe affair that
I glad he home , hope he enjoy the best
moment of his
life, that has been overlook in the last couple of years.
he deserve all of them.
So your having trouble with the
car, well
just hold on and when I get home , we
try and get
a better one. It better than none, had
lot fun out
of it haven't we honey, remember
some of those
time in that car, had a nice bed in a
nine
bedroom in a nice house, and still we
try that front
seat for old time ____tion. " Can't"
