Letter to Jean Law from Russell Law.
"Tues. Feb 20
Dear Jean,
Received two more pictures today, boy honey
they are simply wonderful. I look at them
in the morning and at noon the the hole
evening I have to myself. The picture
of you is perfect honey, it really does
flatter you, but it lovely, very lovely
indeed. It almost have you beside me
Jean, I guess that the close I will
get until I get home.
You were telling me about
a story you were reading about a
couple whose love made them
together even when others were all
around them. You are right honey even
though there is thousands of miles between
we are near each other I believe that
make it that way honey. I see you so
many nights, the stars I was telling
you about, help me talk to you
in so many way I love you darling
always as long as I live Jean you
are the only one for me, believe
me honey when I get home, I will
worship you honey you were telling
me how happy we will be, honey
happy won't be the word for it anybody
that try to take you away from me
for one minute I break his neck.

yes, Jean we will visit that place
and so many places we will go "together"
when I was home I was selfish in
lof of way, I would leave you at
home when I could be home with you
well honey that down the drain and
life will be different I give my
life on that.
Honey don't get blue this war
won't last for such a long time, just
be contented and try to forget, I know
that there is days, which I never forget
but I will try and that all we can do
I love you baby that why I am hear

thing in the world to fight for.
Well honey I will have to close
now, we are going to have R Inspection
and I will have to get on the ball.
