Dear Jean,
Hello honey. I am sorry I miss a few dats, unexcusable
but couldn't help it. I received three more letter. The mail are
(mix) up, but as I told you I received lot of mail when I arrived
here. I received one letter Nov. 2, first letter I got wrote in
Nov where knowI was going to China. I send a
package out to you. I hope you like the present. Enclose a
note so you know what whats. Gee honey you letter are
wonderful. And stop_____what I have improving on
and what a wonderful guy I am .It you that is wonderful,
not me. I love you darling and hope you are very happy.
It help me honey when you say I am worth
waiting on. I love to hear that. It gives me something to
hope for. I love you dearly Jean and the little boy. I
can't even imagine what he like. He just be a real
boy by the thing you say about him.

I start writing this again honey. I had to (quite)writing
last night for a good reason. I love you honey and I reread
your letter. In a way they make me very happy and
yet they make me very sad. It seems like a long time
to the day with we get together again. I wonder darling
how it is going to be. I love you so dearly. I know it
going to be a wonderful feeling. It doesn't look like
it very far off. But being away so far it make a guy
feel like it a long time away. I so use to this
life I doubt if I know what it is to have a good time. I
suppose you think I should have a good here, but I don't.
Nothing in this world would make me happy, but you honey. (Your)
the thing I want. The little boy I want (to), but, since I
really don't know what he like, I can't really talk about him. I
will love him I know. Just can't help loving you all. Good
people are very (easer) to like. You mention in your
letter you (hav'nt) change. I don't believe you have, Jean.
I really know you letter are_______. I (dore) you
for them. I know this war has made a man out
of me, and I couldn't say it made a wife out of you. In
my______you (alway) was a lovely wife.
(Hows) the brothers doing, happy I hope.Tell
dad a bottle of beer here only 1400. Lots of money! No!
Equal to $0.50 a bottle so you can see the prices
went way up. It a crazy place this Tsangtao. I really a
poor place. People buying & selling. You can buy
a baby for a dollar so you can see these people are
really hard hit. I heard a news broadcast where the
people want us out of here. I don't blame them. I
never wasn't going to say anything about this place in
that respect, but we should be here. Lot a trouble has
start all ready just because of it. It been like this
ever since I been in service. Some glory happy
man stick (is) nose out and some poor private pay
for it. If that democracy I take a kick in the pants.

It really doesn't matter anymore. It about time to
a civilian again and we have a turn. Well honey
I start to close now. The mail on this end is real
slow. Wish I get some mail tonight but I doubt it.

P.S. I wish I could cuddle up beside you Jean. We
certainly will make up for last time. I had a lot good
dream about in the last year and few day so I
hope to see them dreams come true.
