Hello, honey. Received a package from you today. Was
please to [received] it. It was the towel and etc. "Thank You."
Well, honey, I am sorry. I guess thing aren't very good for us. Gee,
honey, if I could just get home, thing would be so much better. When
you say, it hard for you to write a cheerful letter, I realize
it hard. I so low tonight isn't funny. I want to tell you
I be home soon and yet I know it a damn lie. It so hard
for you. I love you so dearly and wish I could make you happy. I
haven't had a letter form you since I wrote you last. That
mostly the reason I don't write you ever day. I wait for a
letter and no letter. I get so blue I just don't write. That the
old reason for it. I guess I don't have it so bad. This

do get liberty [ever] other night. It really interesting to go
out. Eat, and drink is all I do and it still kept me broke.
Had my shirts cut down and all my washing done, so I
really am lot better off than on a little rock. Honey, I hate
to say this but if you would just send me some money instead
of sending anything. I can use it very badly. I got
thing to buy and really I can't make it. Do your best and
I will love it. Well, honey, I guess if I kept praying, I make
it home soon. I going to close now. I love you so much I
could cry all over this letter. I got stop writing, honey. I love
