Dear Jean,
Hello honey, sorry I missed a few day of writing. I
meant to answer your last three letter, but I just
put it off. The first thing I will talk about is the
bet news I have ever heard. I didnt really believe this
war was over but it is now, I realize that, It sill
the same in the service Jean I can talk like
I want to the censorship is still tough and
the question you ask me I can't answer them, I explain
that coming home in my last letter. How does it
feel to buy all the gasoline you want, Gee must
be glorious time at home. I waited on this war
to end and it came, but no celebration here, just the
same old stuff. We did have lot of happy thoughts
though, I wanted to be so close to you Jean, but
I wasn't and that may be 'sad'! but in the
near future I shouldn't be sad I won't be long
I am sure. So Wilbert arrived home that certainly
nice. I bet he doesn't know how to act must be
a big change. I bet the little boy is all excited
over the big change in thing, he be seeing
people he hasn't seen for a long time. Gee honey
I really don't know what to talk about when
I write Jean I am sorry. I going to sign off. I
get so damn nervous when I write, you can't take
it from my writing. I do all right sometimes
but this one of my bad days. I don't go anyplace
nothing doing on this rock and it a rock too!! Tell
the folks I said 'Hello' will see you all in the near
future, I love you darling wish I could show you
how much, God bless you all.
Love
Russ.
