It certainly seem nice to write to you again, I receive lot of letter from you, it make one feel very good, to hear all about home, I love you Jean, so much honey, it seem like I never will get home again, but I have a very nice family to go to, so I guess I can sweat it out until it all over with, I 'think' in the near future it will end, I have almost nine months overhear, I think about 14 more and I will be in that little home of our, it seem like a long time, but it really not long. I just received two more letter from you the 18th + 16th of this month, I hope you enjoy yourself on your vacation, I would make it very nice for you if I was going on it with you, I take it by your letter you enjoy yourself, I am glad Jean, you have initiative, to enjoy yourself instead of just sitting around thinking about this war, I love you jean, you really a good woman, it to bad, there is not more like you. So Harry Stanton is in the used car (page break) business, I hope he make a great success out of it, He a good fellow, had lot of fun with him and his wife hope to get out with them again. I glad Harold N. is home tell him I said hello, if he still there when you receive this letter which I doubt very much, tell mother, I received her letter, was very glad to hear from her, she certainly is a wonderful woman, the good lord only knows, beside (?) all the rest of our immediate family, Gee honey, you told me so many thing about the little boy I just can realize how he is, I wish honey you would send me some real 'nice' picture of you and Jim (?), send me some of yourself too honey. I think you can get some films, you are beautiful honey, your picture got pretty bad shape being oversea so long, I could stand something else Jean and that is a good comb, some nice towels- wash cloths and little thing like powder and hair oil, and thing in that order. You were asking me about Kook + some of the fellows, I haven't seen anyone I know back on the Canal, might __ that sometime, if I get in the right places. Well honey I close now will write again tonight. Loving you always honey. God bless you. Love, Russ"
