Letter to Sarah DiWolf from Henry DiWolf
Dear Mother,
I write you few lines
just to inform you that we are
usually well at present–there is
nothing of importance to write.
Louisa can give any information
concerning [?]--I hope that you
and Father will both come and
see us this Faul–I should be
glad to hear from you all–It is
seldom that I hear a word from
any of you–Sarah is growing
finely and very spry. I hope you
will come once and see her
[?] & Elvira go to school they
both learn very fast–[?]
reads in the Testament–Elvira
has a drawer of Baby Cloths
Baby’s or Dolls and other sawing–
She often rises early takes her
needle & thimble & her Drawer &
saws for hours together as
steady as an old woman–
I had but a few minutes to
write this–give my love to my
Father and all my Friends in
haste–your Daughter [?]
