Letter to 'son' from Horace Stevens, 1856. Letter is faded.
Newton Falls March 21 1850
Dear [?]
I called on Mr. Lyman
as requested. Made known your
errant to him who says he shall
want them on Wednesday. any further
delay would be likely to result in
serious inconvenience. Remember the
day Wednesday next. remit them to
me and I will take them to him.
As to coming down it is not very
convenient for me to leave besides the
roads are already breaking up
and within a day or two may
be very bad Should myself prefer
delaying it until the roads get better
when you may expect a visit
that is after you return from your
[?] we are all well
My care to yourself & family
