Dear Son
Enclosed you will find Thirteen
Dollars Collection from a Hardman
for T. J. Freeman Hardware dealer
which if you pleas you will pay over
to him and take a voucher of some kind.
You will also find my _____ certificates.
I have been trying to get hold of money
enough to pay my taxes, but have not
been able to do so yet, it has taken _____
and more than all this for this year to
cover family expenses. I am in hope of
getting some money through my wife
this winter. If you can pay my taxes I wish
you would but if you cannot conveniently
let them run. Should your pay them
remember that the taxes on the Sawmill
do not belong to me to pay
I suppose the time for paying without
a penalty runs out this week.
all in fair health girls at school
going are quite well. have been looking
for _____ but have given it up until
about the last of the month when Chas will
probably come with her.
