My dear father,
The enclosed letter
and papers. I need from?
London Sat forwarded to me
from [?]
I think as I am
to my [?]
[?] as we certainly
know of no one there whom
could limit as in [?]
him and who could manage
as he has I have been
writing him this morning to
this effect that the properly
[?] be sold before [?]
if a possible thing. He would
manage the master more
conscientiously than anyone
else would and would end
it all further trouble in this
matter.
It seems there is a delin-
quint tax under Mary's
name of which we have
known nothing nor? it
seeing Hillie & I
in looking over this matter
yesterday? let it looked
quite complicated and so
many names appear and
yet the property is recorded
in my name. I hav'nt a
single paper in my possession
to show that I have any part
or lot in this matter so my
title is not my? Hillia
think but no doubt you can
explain things so they will
seem clear-wish I could
see you have a talk
on the subject.Location
