Complaint has been made
to me by the Lieutenant and [?] of
the Troop of Horse attached to the [?]
Regiment 3rd Brigade 4th Division
Ohio Militia, against James Hillman
Esq Comandant of [?] Regiment, which
complaint in writing is herein enclosed [?]
to you and of which I have noticed the
complaints.
Being about to take a
journey from home and to be abroad
for several months it would be very
difficult for me to pay that attention
to the complaint that its magnitude
requires . I hope you will therefore not
deem it improper in me that I refer
the Complainants to you for advice and
relief [?] I am [?] with any [?]
