Letter from the Oakwood Cemetery Association, February 17, 1949.
"Feb 17- 1949
Dear Madam
In answer to your inquiry about
the Father & Mothers names on this
lot 7 & 10, there is no other lettering
on the monument only Craig
Our daily record book starts Mar.
6- 1888 looking through these I found
Martha Craig buried July 16- 1893
and her parents name was
John & Martha Hardy buried on the
Howard Craig lot 7-10 & also Robt J
Craig that died Jan 2nd 1901 no parents
name on our book McFarland was the
undertaker. I call them but there records
do not give no parents name
But if there was a son or daughter
buried later then 3/6/88 maybe
their records will show parents names
Will be glad to help you any way
I can
