Dear Miss Luley -
Joe and I both want to thank
you for the attractive luncheon
set and hand note you sent us.
It's a good feeling to have old friends
wish you well. It was a very lovely
remembrance.
We are almost settled now - al-
though at first we thought we'd
never be able to dig out of the mess.
I think the apartment looks very
attractive - I only wish you could
see it, but perhaps you may be
able to at that if you're ever in
these parts. You know you have a
standing invitation!
So far no luck about the piano. But
I wrote the Baldwin Co. yesterday
and I'm hoping to have some
kind of an answer the next couple
of days or so. At any rate I'll get
one somewhere, somehow! I'm already
itching to practice - I guess even a rest
can drag out a little too long.
thanks again, Miss Luley, and do
write me now and then - I like
so much to hear from you.
Best regards from us both,
Love -
Vivien"Collection
