Letter to Joe and Lowell from Arthur Mizner
"Riverside California Feb 2-37
Hello Joe and Lowell
just a line or two arrived here xmas
nite. and have had a wonderful time to date.
weather like summer. flowers in bloom, and
Humming birds flying around the blossoms dont
seem possible for Feb 2. and lots of sunshine
to day so the Ground hog can see his shadow.
I expect to leave the last day of Feb for home.
to be on time for Shugar makeing. and
look over the Fruit prospect. and see weather
the spraying machine is worth fixing once more
as I just about ruined it last season,
am leaving the last of this week for a 4 day
trip down the coast. to the Mexican Border
where they say it is tough, suprized you to
hear you received the letter I wrote on the train
on my way out here. Father and Mother quite well
for them, this writing, expect to see you some
time
best of Luck
