Hello Joe and Lowell
Decided to ans your letter of Oct 31, and in the
same mail, received a new receipt from Adam
Neblett, as I had notified them of there error in
sending recepts.
I never knew much about Fathers will, But in 38
when I talked to him last, more or less said about
their affairs, and we figured there couldn’t be a
very large amt. left after all expenses,
and the list of expenses, and cash received
from Estate. I received from * L HIcks
looked I that about the way Father and I
talked, at that time in Calif. and such an expensive
trip to go to Calif to investigate, I decided to be
satisfied with the [???] well how was the
Hunting trip to Maine and what kind of luck.
Lots of hunting here, and a No. of Boys around here
went to Pa. and came back with several Deer, and
a Bear or to. 3 counties in Ohio have Open Season on Deer this
year. But not close to this section.
I received the LIfe Magazine ok, and it is 1
noticed a property transfer in the Warren Daily
where Wilm Mizner transfered acreage in Hartford
township to Herbert Chantry. Ivan Clark says
she done this to get out of paying her honest debts
and owes him 42 oo bucks for painting the
House. and He is going to file linen on the
property soon if somebody to pay up.
Had a Turkey shoot Nov 22, which was another
big success, moved 10 turkeys and plenty of heavy
Jack pots, next one sometime Xmas week.
having wonderful weather last two weeks
real Indian summer butcherd my 5 hogs and
got them off the high field feed before they broke me up
Ate all I could, caned some, pedeled and
donated the balance, and I fed and raised
a lot for my Tenants Sons wife people. I call them
the Syndicate. Butchered 5 head Thanksgiving day
dressed over #18 oo
I am getting along fine, and had a wonderful
garden season, and thinking about big program
for next season. think I will l buy another team of
horses this winter to have when the garden week starts
next spring, as the hired help is iniforreable to get,
My tenants youngest girl–4 years old was
taken sudenly ill Sat. eve. Took her to Sharon to Dr.
at 8 pm at 10:30 [?] for [?] and a
Refert this am doing fine.
Imagine you are thinking of Xmas as it is near that
time of year.
Dec 17 am going to try and
finish this letter. have been trying to get on
the sick list the last week, but a lot better now
Dr. said watch out. almost had me in the Hospital
for pneumonia. have a gun shoot scheduled
for next Mon Eve Dec 20 7pm and have a lot to
do to have it in shape and on time.
The tenants youngest girl is back home from the
Hospital OK and we are having some real winter
now all this week zero weather to 4 below, and on
sign of it getting warmer.
Went Xmas shopping one day this week to Warren
Greenville, and Sharon, and failed to see anything
I thot worth buying. So I decided to enclose this
$20.00 bill and let you fellows figure out
your own Xmas present
I will have to close as this is Sat pm and
not to much time to get this in todays mail
