Parasol carried by Mrs. Homer Norton of Southington, c. 1860, great grandmother of Judge Lynn B. Griffith Jr.
The parasol is a dark green satin fabric with light brown embroidery. The wood shaft that folds in two has an ivory ferrule that is broken. There are also, two tassels wrapped around the cap end.
Along with the parasol is a white box with blue edge tape. The bottom of the box is labeled in pencil, "IV2/375".
