My dear Seneca,
Your letter read
tonight when the boy came
from school. So glad to
hear that you were all right
and arrived at your dest-
nation safely and before the
rain. We are usually well.
Have our milk to skim and
so that makes more work.
Truman has gone to bed. The
other boys thinking of going.
Your father gone to the Center.
A card from Berle to night
saying Alice sits up a little
each day. Does not say how
he is. Think he went to
the reunion. You had not
been gone long before I discovered
your night shirt lying on
the floor where you [?] [?]
[?] forgot . To find it is all
your C.E. pins. I also found
[?Thesmonitas] and [Calendar] too.
Will send the pins with the
letter and the rest in some
way. Wear the night shirt you
have. Tell us all about your
room. How large. What do you
have to pay for board.
I was afraid you would be sick
or nearly so by Sunday. Not a
very pleasant day for being
along among strangers.
A card from aunt Mim say-
ing she was going to [?Columbus].
Sat. PM so she got benefit
of the rains. To day old
Mrs. Knowland was buried.
They took her to Orwell for
burial. Her first husband bur-
ied there. Aluisses Chase
went to Buffalo to day.
Papa just came. Says Johnnie
Troyer is in San Francisco. His
time will be out in Apr but
he talked of reenlisting so
Dars told him. And his
sister Mrs. Woodsworth was there
last Sunday.
Do not worry about my work-
ing to hard over your things.
If I had only gotten your old
blue coat fixed I should
have felt better. How do you
like your clothes. It was so
lonesome here Sat and Sunday.
Do not forget to send that
Mr. Mulby the postage on
that book he sent you back.
Well I'm pretty tired and will
go to bed and finish in the
morning. Good night
Wed morn. Looks like rain
this morning. Hope you are well
and getting along nicely
Papa wants to know if will
be in Warren some day.
Not examinations day.
Something he wants you to
find out for him.
The boys are expecting their
[?]. Will write more some
other time. With love and
good wishes. Your mother
Anna E. Partridge
