Dear Brother,
Received your
letter yesterday which
found us all well except
mother who has had
another set back and
has not been able to do
anything since last Thurs.
The doctor was up Tues.
and thought she had
taken cold and settled
in her muscles. She is
not able to walk scarcely
any but thinks she feels
better otherwise than a
few days ago.
She says not for you to
worry about her. We do not
think it will be necessary
for you to come home
unless she is taken worse.
But if you would feel
better to do so, we can
meet you any time.
Wilson is holding revival
meetings and has an
old duffer by the name
of Clark helping him
who is a ringtailed
snorter. He rings so loud
that even Mrs. Criddle
cannot be heard. And can
shout amen and yes Lord
to beat the oldest
inhabitants.
You asked for some of the
Prof’s physic problems.
I copied two and will
send them if you have time.
Wilson is going to church
and will have him mail
this.
We had a Literary this
Friday eve.--a fair crowd
and program.
It is now good sleighing
if you keep in the
track. I guess I will
have to close now as
Wilson has the horse
hitched up. We will
some of us write again
in a few days.
Your brother
E. H. Partridge
