Dear Brother,
This is a cloudy, chilly
disagreeable day although the road
are not as bad as they might be.
I have just been down to Sanes.
Mrs. Sane is not as well today.
You, of course, know that she has
not been well for some time
We oppened the sugar camp
friday and gathered twenty five
barrels of sap yesterday, se we
had to boil till about four oclock
this morning. We told father
he would have to go to church
and get his sins
pardoned for boiling on sunday
morning. Friday evening
the Senior class and friends
were entertained at Mrs.
[?] Lyons, each member
of the class was to bring

some one. I happened to be one of
the lucky ones. Elmer, of course,
took a knapp. Harry took the
sawmill and I took the
tinshop.

in honor of Prof. Case at the
town barn next Friday night shall I mean warm
sugar is to be served, every is
invited. Case will be home
only about 4 or 5 days. Every-
body should go for Cas is
certainly the Citizen of Gustavus.
There will be Union
meeting to-night at the
east church. Must close and
go at the chores.
P.S. Monday morning
A fine day and
good prospects of sugar
making. I told you wrong
