O Dear Sir
Your favor of the 12th _____
is at hand and contend noticed. I send you
herewith enclosed a copy of the Article between my
Father (H. G. Walker) and Benj Carpenter & _____ Lake
with the endorsements in Pencil mark of a part of
the payments as Mr Carpenter hold my right for these
payments they never having been endorsed on his
article. I was just on the point of writing Mr. Carpen
ter relation with balance now due, but as I infer
you are to pay it _____ anniversary. I hope you
will see this balance paid immediately
If Mr Blakely wants to pay the balance of the
contract into one hundred dollars I will take
this paper as you maintained for that amount
and have this check made over.
