This is the west end and south side of the Southern Pacific passenger depot at Visalia. The porch on the west end provided shade for waitnig passengers against the brutal summer sun. The center of the building containted the waiting room, ticket counter and agent's office. The far end of the building containted the baggage room. This view looks northeast.
