Souther Pacific locomotive 7007 leads a westbound freight train down Oak Street in Visalia. The track in Oak Street was contstructed in 1893 by the Visalia Railroad. This line was eventually acquired by the Southern Pacific Company. This view loosk east. It is unlikely that the train yeilded right of way to motor vehicles passing through the intersection.
