This is the north end and east side of the Santa Fe depot at Visalia. The depot was located on the southwest corner of Main and Santa Fe Street. Note the wigwag signal protecting the Main Street in the foreground. The train order board is still in place but the blades have been removed. This depot was built in 1897. The north end originally was an open porch. The porch was enclosed at a later date. The building was demolished in 1969. This view looks south.
