Description

This is the north end and west side of the Santa Fe depot at Visalia. Note that the architecture was very similar to depots in Hanford and Tulare. To the right can be seen a Santa Fe highway trailer. This was likely used to haul less than carload freight originating at Visalia an other Valley towns. In the background across Santa Fe Avenue can be seen the Purina feed mill. In front of the mill are hopper cars loaded with feed ingredients. This view looks southeast.
